From humble beginnings, the Café has always been an integral part of life at Cairns Base Hospital .

The Sea Breeze Café provides quality food and retail services to the patients, staff and visitors to the hospital in a magical location overlooking the Cairns esplanade. At the same time it generates substantial funds that are donated back into health care services. It has indoor and outdoor dining for up to 60 people and has a view to rival any in Cairns . We are very proud that we have created a comfortable and scenic environment for people to relax whilst visiting or working at Cairns Base Hospital .

The coffee served at the café is just wonderful and the freshly baked muffins are the perfect accompaniment. As well as the great food there is a range of gift items, toys, toiletries, magazines, etc that will make a visit to the hospital more comfortable.
