The objectives of the Far North Queensland Hospital Foundation are to fund the purchase of state-of-the-art equipment and establishment of first class health related facilities and to assist in the establishment of Far North Queensland as a centre of excellence in health services by funding, supporting and encouraging education, training and research.

In order to achieve the objectives, the Far North Queensland Hospital Foundation provides funding for the provision of modern equipment, facility enhancement, education, training and research.
